Katie joined Storefront in 2017. She brings a combination of policy and political experience, having worked in local government and on both candidate and issue campaigns.

A Bay Area native, she began her political career serving on San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo’s campaign team and most recently, his policy staff. Her work has focused on broadening economic opportunity through public policy, building coalitions within and outside government and encouraging citizen engagement.

Katie holds dual degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of Portland and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco.
